  • State Foundation on Culture and the Arts (SFCA) - "Altered States" Exhibit at Hawaii State Art Museum Opens this Friday, August 6, 2021

“Altered States” Art Exhibit at HiSAM
Artists have always been known for their unique perspectives and alternative visions of the world. The “Altered States” exhibit at the Hawaiʻi State Art Museum (HiSAM), opens this Friday, August 6, 2021.

Through a selection of work from the Art in Public Places Collection of the Hawaiʻi State Foundation on Culture and the Arts (SFCA), “Altered States” explores a variety of imaginative and unusual realms, through painting, drawing, printmaking, photography, fiber and sculpture. Curated by Elizabeth Baxter, SFCA Art in Public Places Curator.
